2018-19 Region 4 Basketball Awards released

Allen County-Scottsville senior forward Sarah Sutton, Clinton County senior guard Jackson Harlan, ACS head boys’ basketball coach Brad Bonds and Metcalfe County head girls’ basketball coach Josh Hurt highlighted the 2018-19 Region 4 All-Season Basketball Awards, which were voted on by the region’s coaches and released Friday.

While Sutton and Harlan earned Player of the Year honors, Bonds and Hurt were both named Coach of the Year. In addition to those accolades, the release also includes First-Team, Second-Team and Third-Team honors on both sides – which are included below.

The awards will be presented after both Region 4 championship games at E.A. Diddle Arena.

2018-19 Region 4 All-Season Boys’ Basketball Awards:

Player of the Year: Jackson Harlan (Clinton County)

Coach of the Year: Brad Bonds (Allen County-Scottsville)

First-Team: Jackson Harlan (Clinton County); Chandler Clements (Monroe County); Isaiah Mason (Bowling Green); Brett Rippy (Allen County-Scottsville); Nik Sorrell (Glasgow)

Second-Team: Jacob Naylor (Russellville); Jack Roberts (Greenwood); Tyler Martin (South Warren); Jon Calvery (Todd County Central); Dre Boyd (Warren Central)

Third-Team: Kobe Brents (Warren Central); Will Bandy (Barren County); Ben Carroll (Greenwood); DeMarco Chatman (Franklin-Simpson); Mason Shirley (Allen County-Scottsville)

Player of the Year: Sarah Sutton (Allen County-Scottsville)

Coach of the Year: Josh Hurt (Metcalfe County)

First-Team: Sarah Sutton (Allen County-Scottsville); Natalie Pierce (South Warren); Mason Towery (Allen County-Scottsville); T’Alla Brown (Bowling Green); Elizabeth Bertram (Barren County)

Second-Team: Jacqueline Jackson (Greenwood); Bailey Pedigo (Barren County); Ashanti Gore (Glasgow); Paige Vanzant (Logan County); Anzley Adwell (Glasgow)

Third-Team: Kaylee Harbison (Metcalfe County); Keyozdon Jones (Bowling Green); Lucy Patterson (Warren East); Taylor Ragland (Bowling Green); Addison Loy (Russell County)
