Joe Brunk

Joe Brunk graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2007, but has had his hand in the broadcasting business since he was a junior in high school, doing play by play for the Lady Owls of Owsley County on WOCS in Booneville, Kentucky.

Since then, he has interned at WYMT in Hazard, Kentucky, covered the Portland Panthers for WQKR in Portland, Tennessee, and hosted a nightly music program, “The Evening Cafe” on Christian Family Radio right here in Bowling Green.

Joe joined the Purples in 2010, and has covered much success in both football and basketball, including two 5A State Football championships, one Varsity Boys Basketball Regional crown, and a pair of Girls Varsity Regional titles.
