Jimmy Stratman is currently a senior at Western Kentucky University studying Broadcast Journalism. Jimmy is entering his third year at Sporting Times. He began his broadcasting career as a color commentator for South Warren football and basketball before moving to Greenwood for the 2015-16-basketball and baseball seasons.
Jimmy is currently the co-host of the Red Towel Radio Show on ESPN 102.7 as well as a co-executive producer on The Extra Point, WKU’s student run sports television program. Jimmy just finished up an internship with the Florence Freedom, a minor league baseball team in the Frontier League. He hopes to go into play-by-play career after college.
